Pipe Saddles & Coverings are upgraded enclosed industrial pipeline support solutions optimized for full-range pipe protection and stable load-bearing. Different from ordinary open-type pipe saddles, our covered pipe saddles adopt an integrated arc saddle base + detachable full coverage protective cover structure, realizing 360° wrapping support and protection for industrial pipelines. This dual structural design perfectly solves common pipeline problems such as external friction scratch, dust accumulation, debris erosion, ultraviolet aging and local stress wear during long-term operation. Combining heavy-load supporting performance and full-surface protective functions, these enclosed pipe saddles adapt to normal temperature, high-temperature and conventional low-temperature piping environments. With standardized specifications and flexible customization, they are ideal for outdoor exposed piping, marine piping, long-distance transmission pipelines and high-cleanliness industrial piping projects.

What Is a Pipe Covering Protection Saddle?

A pipe covering protection saddle（also called an insulation protection shield）is a curved metal shield that wraps around the bottom of an insulated pipe at each support point-. Its primary functions are:

Protecting insulation from being crushed by the weight of the pipe at support locations

Distributing the pipe load over a wider area to prevent point-loading on the insulation

Maintaining the vapor barrier integrity to prevent moisture ingress

Permitting a finished, weather-tight covering at all points of pipe support

Eliminating direct metal-to-pipe contact, extending the service life of both the piping and the insulation
